A night with SOULID!

What does an evening with SOULID! look like? What can you expect? How about sound and light? Can we request songs?
SOULID! is a band that focuses on providing an evening-filling program. This means that we provide an evening-filling program of 3 sets of 50 minutes. In between the sets we play music, so that there are no silences.
The band
We are (mostly) professional musicians with a great love for Soul.

The evening
With three sets of music of 50 minutes we build up every party to an unforgettable evening!
Between the sets the party doesn't stop. We play a standard music list, which can also be provided by you, a Spotify list for example. It is also possible to use microphones for speeches.
If you want music during dinner, reception or during the arrival of guests, we can play an easy listening set. That is largely instrumental, played by part of the band. We play light jazz and pop. There is an additional cost to this set.

We make a setlist that fits perfectly with the evening. In addition, we feel on the evening itself what
fits best with the atmosphere and the energy at the party.

We have an extensive repertoire but it may be that you really want to hear a special song. That's possible! We rehearse a maximum of 1 request song for a performance. If you want more, that is possible in consultation, but then extra costs will be added.

Technical - Sound, Light and Stage
We work together with a sound company that brings standard sound for a maximum of 250 people audience.
He also brings 'static' light. That is light for on stage and looks good. Are there more than 250 people,
then a larger set is taken along and that means an additional price. In addition, it is also possible to
bring moving heads (light), together with a light engineer
We need a stage of at least 4 by 6 meters. That is at least 8 stage parts. Preferably a little more. If there is no stage available at the location, we can also play without a stage.
If there is a sound limit at the location, we must discuss in advance whether that is possible. We cannot play below a limit of 96dBa. That is because of the brass and drums.

Schedule
The sound engineer arrives
three to four hours before the show. The band arrives an hour later to set up.
We do a sound check an hour before the start of the program. Sometimes it is the case that the guests
are already present at the party location and that we therefore have to set up earlier.
That is possible, but we charge an additional price for that.
In case we arrive before 6pm, you need to provide a warm (crew) meal.

Financial
We are a foundation (Stichting SOULID!, KVK 61167487) and send you an invoice after the event.
So you don't have to do difficult with artist statements and the like.
We make a contract with each other in advance stating what we expect from each other so that there are no misunderstandings, to make sure that it will be a great party!
